Kieran 'remix honcho' Hebden seems to have a certain gift when it comes to knowing what to do with the bits and pieces of would-be songs laid before him. I mean a remix from Four Tet seems to do wonders for the band or artist who are lucky enough to acquire his services, but there is obviously a reason for this...Four Tet is as they say in France, "shit hot". DIANA are the latest to receive the remix treatment from Hebden with their new EP's title track Perpetual Surrender - forthcoming from label Jagjaguwar come August 20th. The remix is carried by each the infectious bass line, vocals, and hi percussive shuffle typical of Mr. Tet's stylings. It is also free for a little download which is nice.  Four Tet continues his prolific output of various remix's, re-works, and re-edits, re-cuts, re-fix's and all other re's you can conjure to mind with his take of RocketNumberNine's track Rotunda. Four Tet takes a subtle approach on this one tweaking elements giving a sleek weight behind the already-kick heavy percussive and a token shaker or two.
