Leon Vynehall // Butterflies / This Is The Place

After his well received album on 3024 earlier this year, Leon Vynehall is back, with his debut EP on the Clone Royal Oak imprint. Once again Vynehall does not disappoint, with his trademark percussion led tracks and subtle yet well crafted sampling.

Leon Vynehall // Music For The Uninvited (3024)

Leon Vynehall's debut LP is set for release on 17th March 2014 on double 12" via 3024.

Laszlo Dancehall // LZD Part II

It has been announced that the pair which make up Laszlo Dancehall (otherwise known as Lyon Vynehall and Christian Piers) are set to release their second EP through George Fitzgeralds ManMakeMusic label. The tracks are yet to be released from the new cut so the extent of what we can relay is limited; we do know they've stuck with the Hindu deity theme for artwork, it's being released on the 21st October, and if it's anything like their previous release than it should have tabs all over it.
It is also well worth a mention that the Vynehall half of Laszlo Dancehall has got an impending release through 3024 set for the 16th September. The first track to be laid out from the EP sees Vynehall delivering his usual jaunted slant on house. Take a listen to it below...

Leon Vynehall // Brother/Sister EP

Leon Vynehall is beginning to amass quite a collection of high rate releases in his locker after his first of 2013 - the 'Rosalind EP' - was dropped after one of those all too frequent anticipation building waits that can be dragged out over a number of months... but in the case of this particular release, well justified. The next and more recent outing for Vynehall was his collaborative project with Christian Piers under the guise of 'Laszlo Dancehall', another flexing of the dancefloor-house muscles for the producer, in which his usual sonic stylings are wheeled out and packaged up in a weighty 4x4 bundle.
Old news aside, his latest two tracked 12" release - the 'Brother/Sister EP' - comes courtesy of Will Saul's Aus Music and has been placed on the world wide web for everyone to have a stream. The A side Brother takes its solid 4x4 house rhythm and slants a garage flavour in there to partner itself with the trademark Vynehall key stabs and vocal samples floating and interweaving between each other. Irresistible repetition is the name of the game here. The B side Sister takes a more laid back approach to the whole affair, sustaining the keys and allowing reverb to have its way to give a bit more air and space to the proceedings. The 12" will be available as of the 10th June, treat yourself here.

Laszlo Dancehall // Laszlo Dancehall EP (MMakeM008)

The new release from Leon Vynehall and Christian Piers, guised under their new moniker Laszlo Dancehall, comes courtesy of George Fitzgeralds ever trustworthy Man Make Music label. The lead off tune from the EP release Gave Up has so far received the lion share of the attention because of it's featuring in Fitzgerald's BBCRadio1 Essential mix, giving a message of intent for the release with its chugging rhythm and Vynehall's familiar underwater-esque keys line. Kicking off the b side is Ain't No Time (the favourite on this side of the screen) which ticks all the boxes for an unrelenting dancefloor filler, no doubt you'll be hearing it out providing you're not going to Tiger Tiger for your kicks. The EP gets its release come the 20th May digitally but is available now on vinyl, get it here.
